Denise Holmes, Principal

denise-holmesAn engaging and skilled coach and facilitator, Denise has a special ability to help executives master leadership dilemmas and have tough conversations in new, more productive and healthy ways. Clients value Denise’s non-judgmental, appreciative and direct approach to challenge and partner with them to address tough leadership and team challenges.

In 2009, after 10+ years of providing a mix of training, organizational development, and human resources expertise as an employee of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and InFocus Corporation, Denise founded Edge Leadership Consulting. In her roles of coach, facilitator and organizational development consultant, Denise brings a deep curiosity, compassion, and authenticity to her work. She has a broad background in designing and delivering experiential leadership development, coaching individuals and teams through change and for increased performance, and applying system dynamics to her consulting.

Denise is a certified coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and holds a Master of Arts degree in applied behavioral science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle, with a focus on coaching and consulting in organizations. She also holds an M.B.A. from Marylhurst University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies from the University of Oregon.

Pam Rechel, Associate

pam-rechelPam has coached hundreds of managers over 20 years to help them manage employees and make effective changes in their organizations. Pam has a special gift for helping leaders create a culture of accountability, be crystal clear in their thinking, and more effectively communicate difficult messages. She is committed to making managers work easier because for too many years she and a whole lot of great, talented teammates suffered in awful work environments where people worked hard but didn’t get great results; didn’t have much fun and were worn down by constant change. She knows it can be different and helps leaders and their teams to build resilience in the midst of constant challenge and change.

With Bluepoint Leadership Development, she was one of the facilitators for the Microsoft Management Excellence Foundation Event which she has facilitated in Singapore and Hyderabad, India as well as in the U.S.

Pam is a certified coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and holds a Master of Arts degree in applied behavioral science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle, with a focus on coaching and consulting in organizations. She also holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University in Information Technology, and an M.S. in Education Administration from Syracuse University. Pam holds the highest certification for Myers-Briggs Type Indicators (MBTI) facilitators, including Step II, and has facilitated Myers-Briggs team workshops for 15+ years in the U.S. as well as, Singapore, Taiwan, and Ireland.
